Purpose & organization

Research Center for Emergency Medicine has a well-established co-operation network across countries and continents. The international co-operation network enables to both initiate and participate in multicentre research trials as well as a possibility for exchange-students to experience and learn from top-class research environments and about clinical work in other emergency departments.

TAME Cardiac Arrest is a phase III, multi-centre, randomised, parallel-group, controlled trial to determine whether targeted therapeutic mild hypercapnia (TTMH) improves neurological outcome at 6 months compared to standard care (targeted normocapnia (TN)) in resuscitated cardiac arrest patients who are admitted to the intensive care unit.
