The current research focus is - medication safety, clinical deterioration, clinical intuition, situational awareness, prevention of acute hospital admissions, patient reported experience measurements and covid-19 – examined by a variety of research methods. The network has ongoing regional, national and international research collaboration e.g. Trinity College Dublin, School of Nursing and Midwifery, Ireland and Brigham & Womens Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA, USA.
