๐Ÿ” Visible and Invisible Emergency Nursing โ€“ What Should We Prioritize for the Future Without Compromising Patient Safety? ๐Ÿš‘

Emergency departments worldwide are under increasing pressure due to an aging population with complex health needs and a growing nursing shortage. This challenges both the quality of care and patient safety. But what aspects of emergency nursing are truly essentialโ€”and how should they be prioritized in the future?

A new PhD project led by Nanna Fauerholdt Skov aims to shed light on this critical issue through:

๐Ÿ“Œ A review of existing evidence in the field

๐Ÿ“Œ Observations and interviews with nurses, patients, and physicians

๐Ÿ“Œ An international Delphi process where experts assess the findings

By clarifying the visibility and importance of nursing tasks, this project takes the first step toward transforming emergency nursing for the future. ๐ŸŒโœจ
